What is PhoneLookup.in?

PhoneLookup.in is a free phone number intelligence tool. Enter any phone number and get carrier, geographic location, and timezone information — all powered by Google's libphonenumber library.

How it works

We use three data sources from Google's libphonenumber:

• PhoneNumberOfflineGeocoder — Geographic location (country, state, city)
• PhoneNumberToTimeZonesMapper — Timezone detection
• PhoneNumberToCarrierMapper — Carrier/network operator

All processing is done server-side. No external API calls for basic lookup.

Data accuracy

Carrier and location data is based on number prefix allocation by TRAI (India) and equivalent telecom authorities worldwide. Data is updated regularly. Report inaccuracies via the contact page.

Community reports

Users can flag numbers as spam, scam, telemarketer, or safe. Reports are community-sourced and help others identify suspicious callers.

Coverage

50+ countries supported. Full carrier detection for India (Jio, Airtel, Vi, BSNL, MTNL). International carriers for 20+ countries including US, UK, Australia, Germany, Japan, Singapore, UAE, and more.
